BANANA CHOCOLATE QUESADILLA
15 MINS
2 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
- 1 pcs of Mr Popiah 10-inch tortilla wrap
- 2 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter or Nutella (or a combination of both)
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing the pan
- Powdered sugar (optional, for garnish)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional, for serving)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Filling
- Lay out theĀ Mr Popiah 10-inch tortilla wrap on a clean surface.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of creamy peanut butter (or Nutella) evenly over half of the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges without any spread.
Step 2: Layer the Ingredients
- On the same side of the tortilla with the peanut butter (or Nutella), place the sliced bananas evenly over the spread.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate on top of the banana slices.
Step 3: Fold and Seal
- Fold the 10-inch tortilla over to cover the filling, creating a half-moon shape.
- Press down gently to seal the edges, ensuring the filling is securely enclosed within the tortilla.
Step 4: Cook the Quesadilla
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add a small amount of butter to the pan or use cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Carefully place the prepared quesadilla in the pan.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the tortilla is golden brown and the chocolate is melted. You can use a spatula to flip it over.
Step 5: Serve
- Remove the quesadilla from the pan and let it cool for a minute.
- Optionally, dust the top of the quesadilla with powdered sugar for extra sweetness.
- Slice the quesadilla into wedges.
Step 6: Enjoy
-
- Serve your Banana Chocolate Quesadilla while it’s still warm.
- If desired, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. The combination of warm, gooey chocolate, creamy banana, and the crispy tortilla makes for a delightful dessert.
Enjoy your homemade dessert!
